# Tesseract by Mirage > Professional creative tools for your AI agent: create editable designs, edit footage, animate graphics, and shape sound in Tesseract projects. Use Tesseract for visual brand kits, thumbnails, covers, social graphics, and creative work on footage, text, graphics, and supplied audio. Keep the Tesseract source to revise layers; a PNG or MP4 export is flattened. Supplied images remain images unless their contents are rebuilt as separate elements. The runtime previews and renders on macOS, Windows, and Linux. ChatGPT Mobile uses a hosted environment; Muse, Grok Bot, and Instinct have dedicated integration guides. Check the official release requirements for each environment. Tesseract supports 4K export at 60 FPS. The engine is free; your agent's subscription or usage costs are separate. The feature pages below contain visible demonstrations, explanations, and prompts for a supported agent with Tesseract installed. Review the preview and refine the same editable composition through your agent. [Browse the feature library](https://mirage.app/tesseract/features). ## Install Tesseract [Install the official ChatGPT plugin](https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugins_6ab148f4986c819198f6a08c7fb30f3e?open_in_app). Use the supported desktop workflow or ChatGPT Mobile with its hosted environment. For other compatible local agents, run: `npx skills add mirage-hq/Tesseract`. Select both Tesseract skills and your agent. The skills installer needs Node.js/npm; the runtime itself does not. Install the plugin or the skills, not both. [Setup guides](https://mirage.app/tesseract/install) · [GitHub](https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract) · [Runtime releases](https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract/releases) · [Runtime installation guide](https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract/blob/main/skills/tesseract-video/references/installation.md). The agent needs access to the media and permission to execute the runtime in its environment. Follow the platform-specific setup guide; a browser chat alone does not grant access to your local computer. Follow the installed skills' pinned CLI version and verify the download checksum; do not substitute an arbitrary latest version. Setup prompt: Set up Tesseract by Mirage so you can create editable designs, edit videos, and make motion graphics in this agent’s environment. Read https://github.com/mirage-hq/Tesseract and check the requirements for this local or hosted environment. If it is supported, follow the official plugin or skills installation guide, use its required runtime version, verify the download checksum, and confirm a short preview renders correctly. Then ask what I want to make and which brand references or source assets I have. Keep the editable project and source assets with the finished render. ## Editable projects between your agent and Adobe Use the updated Tesseract skill in a supported agent to import Adobe projects or export Tesseract work for continued editing in Adobe. Premiere Pro .prproj import and export have partial support. After Effects .aep import is partial and best effort; .aep export is experimental and partial. Follow the installed skill's converter guidance and required version. The converter repository is for technical details and open-source contributions, not the primary setup flow. Supply the original project, its linked media, and required fonts. Select the Premiere sequence or After Effects composition to convert. An Adobe export creates a new project from the edited Tesseract document; it does not restore or patch the original Adobe file. Unsupported effects, plugins, expressions, and project settings may be approximated, omitted, or rejected. Preserve the source, review conversion warnings, and compare a rendered preview before relying on the result. Conversion validation alone does not prove visual fidelity. Direct Premiere Pro-to-After Effects conversion is not supported. Tesseract's 4K at 60 FPS rendering capability does not establish Adobe conversion compatibility; check the format-specific frame-rate and feature limits.
